The Oklahoma Union School Board will be accepting applicants to fill vacant seat #1, an unexpired term with 4 years remaining. This vacant seat will appear on the ballot this school year and the appointment will only be in effect until that election cycle.
To be eligible to be a member of the Oklahoma Union Board of Education, a person must have resided in the district for at least six months preceding the first day of the filing period and have been a registered voter registered with the county election board at an address located within the geographical boundaries of the district for six months preceding the first day of the filing period. Applications can be found at www.okunion.k12.ok.us under the “Forms” section or at Oklahoma Union School High School office.

Appointees must meet statutory requirements for eligibility, including residency and voter registration timeline requirements.
This is an appointment for an unexpired term, and this appointment will be in effect until the next election cycle. The filing period for the next election cycle will be between December 7, 2026 and December 9, 2026.
Oklahoma Union School will be interviewing candidates and will be appointing a person to fill the spot at the November 11, 2026 board meeting.
